Day 01: Arrival in Yangon (-)
Arrive from the airport, check-in and then start your Burmese orientation. Stare in awe at the massive 70-meter reclining Buddha at Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, sip a cup of tea with the locals, absorb the green scenery of Kandawgyi Park and travel to the holy Shwedagon Pagoda. As the sun begins to set, watch the colors reflect of Shwedagon’s gold-covered stupa- a magical way to finish a day of sightseeing.

Day 02: Yangon - Bagan (B, L)
After a short flight to Bagan, spend today exploring the ancient temples with your private guide. Start with a stupendous view of the area at an elevated temple, then wander past architectural masterpieces and towering pagodas as you learn about the historical and cultural significance of these buildings. Partake in a special Buddhist ceremony at a local monastery and embark on a horse cart ride along quiet roads. Finish today's sightseeing tour by watching the sun set over the stupa-filled plains. Overnight at Aureum Palace, Bagan.
Day 03: Bagan (B, L)
Learn more about the Burmese culture as you spend the day exploring Nyaung U and the neighboring villages. Interact with the local villagers and visit craftsman villages where you will see items such as plum jam, lacquer ware, and bullock carts being produced. Take a relaxing boat cruise up the Irrawaddy River to the lesser-known temple of Kyauk Gu U Min and observe fabulous scenes of life on the water. En-route, stop at Sae Lan village and go ashore for a short walk amongst the calm scenery. After exploring Kyauk Gu U Min, return to the boat for the relaxing cruise back to Bagan. Overnight at Aureum Palace, Bagan.
Day 04: Bagan - Heho - Inle Lake (B,D)
This morning fly from the plains of Bagan to Heho, a one hour drive to the tranquil waters of Inle Lake. Surrounded by the Shan Hills, embark on a boat trip through stilted villages, past leg-rowing fishermen, and unique pagodas, including one famous for its jumping cats. Explore the weaving village of Inpawkhone, a cheroot factory where typical Burmese cigars are made by hand. Enjoy a scenic lakeside dinner at your hotel. Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake.
Day 05: In Dein - Inle Lake (B,L,D)
Today continue exploring Inle Lake and its surroundings. Travel by boat to the Pa-Oh village of Indein and take an easy 1-hour trek to Kyar Ton village where a gourmet picnic lunch will be served. This afternoon relax with a canoe ride to Tharlay village past the stilted houses and floating gardens of the Intha people. Then, transfer back to your hotel on a private motorboat. Relax at the hotel or opt for a spa or indulge in wine tasting. Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake.
Day 06: In Dein - Inle Lake (B)
Following breakfast at hotel. Free day at leisure to enjoy this city at your own. Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake.
Day 07: Inle Lake - Yangon - Depature (B)
After breakfast, fly back to Yangon where the day is at your leisure until your departure flight. If time allows, try one of our unique 'insider tours', one focusing on art and another on food to further explore the enigmatic city or head to the market for last minute souvenir shopping.
