How to Travel in Vietnam? Travel by Plane: All domestic air travel within Vietnam is operated by Vietnam Airlines. All flight reservations can be made by www.luxuryprivatetravel.com. Once booking is made. We will deliver all flight tickets to you shortly.
Travel by Buses/Motorbike/Bike: Most travellers do not use local buses. It is advisable to use taxis, or hire private buses with a driver. If you like adventure, you can hire a motorcycle to drive by yourself. Please remember that in Vietname we drive on the right-hand side of the road. Travelling through Vietnam by bicycle is worth considering, though the traffic is still a little hazard on highways without wide shoulders. Buses will carry your bike when you want a break.
Travel by Express Train: Travel by train in Vietnam is great way to experience daily life of local people. Travellers can take the Reunification Express Train for entire trip, the Luxury Victoria Express Train, King Express or Fansifan Express for package trip to Sapa.
Travel by Junk/Boat : Almost travellers really like being on Traditional Deluxe Junk or Classic Emeraude Cruise in Halong bay. Boats are widely used for travelling in the Mekong Delta area.
Hitching: Though it is practised it is not recommended. You are expected to pay the driver for picking you up and he will negotiate the fee prior to letting you on board. |
